Cookie Policy
Cookies, browser storage, and your choices when using Logo Foundry

About this policy
Logo Foundry uses cookies and browser storage to support sign-in, server-side upload workflows, and interface preferences. This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy. Visiting the website does not, by itself, constitute consent to optional tracking.
Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent with matching requests. Local storage stays on your device until cleared; session storage normally lasts for the browser tab's session. These technologies do not all serve the same purpose.
Sign-in and upload cookies
- Authentication: Better Auth uses session cookies to keep you signed in and support authentication security. Cookie names may have a secure prefix depending on the deployment. The configured session lifetime is seven days and may refresh during use; cached session data has a one-hour lifetime. Temporary sign-in cookies may also be used during an authentication flow.
- Upload workflow:
temp_user_ididentifies a temporary browser user for server-side logo uploads and related task handling. Its configured lifetime is seven days. It is not a cookie used by every browser-only image tool.
Blocking these cookies may prevent sign-in, account features, or server-side upload workflows from working correctly. A cookie's expiry does not determine how long a server-side file or account record is kept.
Interface preferences and browser storage
| Name | Storage | Purpose | Configured lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
active_theme | Cookie | Remembers the website's visual theme | One year |
sidebar_state | Cookie | Remembers whether the dashboard sidebar is open | Seven days |
theme | Local storage | Remembers light, dark, or system appearance | Until cleared |
lf-announcement: followed by an announcement ID | Session storage | Remembers that you dismissed that announcement | Browser tab session |
Language is selected through page URLs. The current public routing does not set a language-preference cookie. Clearing browser storage may reset appearance or bring back dismissed announcements; it does not delete files or account records on our servers.
Analytics and third-party services
Production deployments can enable analytics through configuration. Supported integrations include Google Analytics, Umami, Plausible, Ahrefs Analytics, OpenPanel, and Seline. An integration being supported does not mean that it is active on every visit. Depending on the provider, analytics may use cookies, browser identifiers, or requests that do not set cookies to measure page visits, device information, and feature usage. Provider-specific retention is not the lifetime of our interface cookies.
Our custom tool events use a field allowlist for tool name, language, file type, output type, coarse duration, and error categories. They do not include uploaded image contents, filenames, entered logo text, or AI briefs. This restriction describes our custom events, not every field a third-party analytics script may collect.
Google or GitHub sign-in and payment checkout may take you to third-party services that use their own cookies. AI credit purchases use Waffo; separately offered subscription or billing features may use Stripe. Those providers control storage on their own domains under their own notices.
Your choices
You can inspect, block, or delete cookies and browser storage through your browser's privacy or site-data settings. You can also use browser tracking protections. Blocking analytics requests should not prevent local image conversion, although blocking authentication or checkout storage may affect those specific services.
The site currently does not provide a dedicated analytics consent or preference panel. This policy is an explanation of storage use, not a consent control. Where optional tracking requires consent, that consent must be obtained separately; continued browsing is not a substitute.
Updates and contact
We will update the date on this page when this policy changes. Questions about cookies or browser storage can be sent to support@logofoundry.app.
